Refund policy
At Tots & Tail, we want you and your little ones — and your furry mates — to love every order. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Change-of-mind returns
In addition to your rights under the ACL, we accept change-of-mind returns within [30] days of delivery, provided the item is:
- Unused, unwashed and in its original condition
- In its original packaging with all tags and seals intact
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's expense.
Items we cannot accept for change of mind
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on the following unless faulty:
- Opened baby feeding items, dummies/pacifiers, and teething products
- Opened pet grooming, feeding or hygiene products
- Items marked final sale or clearance
- Gift cards
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us within [7] days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll arrange a replacement, repair or refund in line with the ACL, and we'll cover return postage for verified faults.
How to start a return
Email totsntail@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll reply with instructions. Please don't send items back before contacting us.
Refund processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within [5–10] business days. Your bank or provider may take additional time to show the funds.
